How much does Hubspot Cost? Pricing, Packages, Etc.

With the movement of businesses around the globe to embrace inbound marketing and all its precepts, there has also been a steady growth of all-in-one web/social media marketing companies like Hubspot, which has now become easily the fastest growing company of its kind in the world.
As the owner of a small business that got on the Hubspot Train before it had barely left the station (they had less than 1000 clients at the time), it has been a pleasure for me to see their phenomenal growth. Such growth is really no surprise to me though; especially considering those businesses that actually embrace and follow their system will inevitably experience huge growth with their online marketing presence, just as my swimming pool company did with such unbelievable success.
But now that I’m a Hubspot partner and work with businesses around the globe to help them also catch the vision of inbound marketing and eventually dominate their niche, I felt it clearly necessary to answer a question that so many businesses want to know:
How much does Hubspot Cost?
Ahhh yes, the age-old question that everyone wants to know before they actually truly understand all the benefits to a potentially life-changing product... But alas, for the sake of time I won’t talk about Hubspot’s (or HS for short) value here as the purpose of this article will only be that of packages and pricing.
Basically, HS has 3 main packages available for potential clients: Small, Medium, and Large. Although at first glance, one might become easily confused with the differences, but in reality there really isn’t that much distinction. But to start, here are the features that all 3 packages have for your business:
- SEO Tools
- Business Blogging Platform
- Social Media Engagement Tools
- Email Marketing
- Prospect Identification
- List Creation
- Lead Tracking
- Extensive Website, Marketing, Blog, and Social Media Analytics
- Super Simple Content Management System (Web Design for Anyone, ‘Techies’ and ‘Non Techies’ Alike)
Although much of the above may seem like technical mumbo-jumbo to many, you can be rest assured that such tools can have an incredible impact on any company.
Small vs. Medium Hubspot Packages:
- The Small package allows for only 1 lead nurturing campaign at a time, whereas the Medium allows for 5
- The Medium allows for automated lead revisit alerts (very cool tool) whereas the Small does not
- The Medium allows for API and Salesforce Integration, whereas the Small does not
- The Medium allows for 10 admin users versus 3 with the small
Medium vs. Large Hubspot Packages
(Large does all the Medium does, but also):
- The Large allows up to 100 lead nurturing campaigns vs. 5 with the Medium
- The Large allows up to 100 admin users vs. 10 with the Medium
- Businesses using the Large receive ongoing and intensive consulting from a HS consultant (Medium receives very limited consulting)
Prices:
- Small: $250 per month or $3,000 per year
- Medium: $750 per month or $9,000 per year
- Large: $1500 per month or $18,000 per year
Although there are a few other small differences and set up costs that we could mention here, the key thing to understand with HS is that not one package fits all. To give you an example, my swimming pool company uses the Medium. Such a package is perfect for us especially with its lead revisit alert tool and 5 lead nurturing campaigns. In our case, using the Large would be overkill and unnecessary, whereas the Medium is literally perfect for our size company. At the same rate, the site you’re currently on( BizBuffs) uses the HS small. My reason for doing this is that I didn’t need much consulting (I’d hope not ;-) nor was I interested in additional lead notification or nurturing tools. But considering all the value I get from using HS’s CMS, Analytics, and other tools that come with the Small, the system is just the right fit.
Well I hope this article has given you a feel as to the different pricing, packages, and costs of using the HS system. As I mentioned previously, if you haven’t read my other article about how HS changed my life and my business, please do, as it will give you a very clear understanding as to whether or not HS is a good fit for your business. You can also find more info if you go directly to the HS pricing page.
